| IDKT-Nozzles from Lechler now also available in plastic material
The proven Air Injection Double Flat Fan Nozzles IDKT from Lechler, which where available in ceramic material so far, are now also available in plastic material (POM). This allows a cost efficient access to double flat fan technology, especially for applications on smaller areas.
IDKT nozzles combine the advantages of drift reduction technology with those of standard double flat fan nozzles. On the one hand this means a very low drift potential, on the other hand an excellent coverage. This applies especially to contact agents, e.g. insecticide applications in rape seeds, more uniform deposition on vertical targets like ears, weeds and potatoes (dessication), and avoids spray shades on cloddy soils, low tillage and sugar beet, as well as to vegetable gardening and arable crops.
Lechler IDKT nozzles are available in nozzle sizes 120-03, 120-05 and 120-05, for application rates of 100-600 l/ha at a speed of 6-12 km/h.

| With effect from 26th January, Lechler received JKI accreditation for their new IDK 90-015C and -02C in the list of "drift reducing device".
In the drift reducing classes 99/90/75/50%, registration as drift reducing technique could be obtained for airblast sprayers application in orchards, vineyards, tree nurseries, special cultures and ornamental plants. IDK 90 nozzles in sizes 01 to 03 are the shortest air-injector flat fan nozzles for airblast sprayers available on the market. Therefore, they fit on all current fans, do not contact the boom unit when turning the multiple nozzle, do not overlap the fan border and thus reduce danger of nozzle damage to a minimum. Low wear and long life thanks to large, non-clogging cross sections of flow, wear-resistant ceramic nozzle tip and injector orifice. The droplet spectrum ranges between medium and very coarse at pressures between 2 and 20 bar. In tests the IDK 90 achieves the same biological efficiency as with fine-droplet spraying.

| Great success for Lechler IDK ceramic at SIMA 2007
As the only manufacturer of plant protection products Lechler has received an innovation award at SIMA 2007, one of the leading agricultural exhibitions in Europe (Paris, France, www.simaonline.com).
The jury emphasised that IDK ceramic nozzles from Lechler give excellent coverage and foliage penetration, regardless of the volume per hectare, hence efficient applications and environmental protection.

Lechler's IDK nozzles officially recognized as drift-reducing
Compact air injector nozzles, type IDK, by Lechler have distinguished themselves in practical ap-plication.
IDK-03, IDK-04 and IDK-05 are BBA-approved and officially registered in the 50/75/90% catego-ries of the "drift-reducing devices" list. IDK nozzles are characterized by a particularly compact design, and they constitute an attractively priced alternative to conventional standard-type nozzles!
